Cute, instagrammable restaurant in Seaport area. Conveniently located next to one of the big parking structures. We made a reservation for our Sunday brunch but it wasn't very crowded when we got there and we could have just walked in. The waitstaff were friendly and helpful at explaining the options on the menu. I got the kale Tuscan scramble which was good but heavier on the cheese than I was expecting. Overall a nice place for brunch! Will have to try for dinner
The guru still in Boston looking for some fine dining this time and I got a tip that this place was really good. Unfortunately this turned out not quite the case. the server insisted I get what they call tuna crudo. It was raw sliced ahi tuna on slices of grapefruit with some strange sauce. I know I'm not one that likes the sweet and savory mixture but this was too much for anyone's pallet. It clearly didn't work for and I'm fairly certain it's not for most people as well. The next course recommended was called duck chichons. He said it is fabulous and a favorite of everyone who orders it. This is nothing more than pureed duck that's spread like cream cheese on a slice of toast with jelly on top with nuts. Simply the weirdest combination I've ever tasted. That one was a pass as well. One that I chose was the sicillian potato croquettes. It was croquettes with crab meat and some spicy sauce. They tasted ok but the spicy sauce just didn't go well with it. It was a bit too spicy and overpowered the croquette. Finally a dish that was super nice was the dorade royale. It was a nicely sliced filet of a fish I've never heard of called sea bream. it tasted kind of like alaskan pollack but way more flavorful. It was perfectly cooked and had a nice buttery sauce to go with it. Definitely order this and maybe some bread and order nothing else. I'm giving this a generous 4 stars simply because that fish dish really did blow me away. The rest of this menu is simply just all over the place. I suspect this is a result of a chef just trying to hard. Sometimes simple is best and the tasty ingredient speak for itself.
My second night of dining in the Seaport, and tonight I made the right decision. Coquette delivered the goods! Great food, service and atmosphere. I've read this place is too loud and is a date night hot spot. Maybe because I was dining at 6:30pm on a Wednesday, the restaurant wasn't that full. The background music was playing at the right volume. Coquette is a beautiful restaurant, having been open for over three years. Recently they did an update on their menu. One of the most important things for a great meal is to have a great server. Enrique, who worked my table, has been on staff since the opening. So he knew the menu cold and offered great suggestions. I started with the Borek Spring Rolls, which were delightful. Enrique said the Duck Chichons is another great starter to try. For my entrée, I went with the Flat Iron Steak. Tender, flavorful and sliced. Perfectly cooked. I heard raves for the Brussels Sprouts and they were worthy of recognition. Loved the spicy agilata, pecorino and calabrain chili crumb. It was a large serving, that I only could finish half myself. For dessert, I went with the Pistachio & Almond, with frozen pistachio mousse, almond cake and Cherry Garcia ice cream. Yum. The presentation includes some flamed toasted meringue. The cocktails are worth the price of admission. Since I love Gin & Tonics, I started with the Le Pickle and then was wowed by Mary Helene with an edible flower. Awesome! Can't wait to return!
Incredible taste, appearance and service and depth of drink menu. Do not ration your food experience here it is made with attention to detail and made from scratch so it takes time to make it to your table but worth the wait. You worked hard and you deserve a tasty meal so treat yourself to a delicious meal and drinks with friends. My favorite dish was the asparagus, next was the hummus with toasted bread. I recommend you order two orders of the bread, it will not last between friends. All of the food comes straight out of flavor town! Get here before the dinner rush! We came here on a Sunday night in May for a work conference and the bar stayed open until 1:30 am. The salad we ordered was also fresh and delicious, not overpowering on the dressing. The drink menu has depth you just have to decide what to drink. For dessert I had the hazelnut and caramel, the portions were small enough to share between two people. I highly recommend this place for drinks and food, your taste buds will thank you!
Super cute bar located in the Omni hotel at the seaport in Boston, great place to hang out with awesome music and feels like a really hip/happening spot to be! Food is delicious- we got a pizza and lots of drinks- and overall a lovely place. Service was great and attentive to us!
This was quite the lively scene with Boston's young and trendy on a Saturday night. Good place to pre game for a night out or for a celebratory meal, although it gets loud with the crowd. It's located in the Omni and is a French inspired restaurant with a variety of small and large plates. The decor was probably my favorite part of this experience- truly classy and beautiful - check out the frescoes above the bar! Drink menu had creative cocktails, and I enjoyed my "Mary Helene" which is one of their G&T variations. The focaccia was quite good although salty by the end, and the socca torte was also solid but confusing- the beet salad would have been good enough without the chickpea base. Like much of the surrounding area, don't plan on bargain prices. Service was very prompt in spite of the busy night

Had an event nearby on a Monday night, and we decided to stop here for dinner. Immediately walking it there was such a fun and fancy atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to me as I was waiting for my friend to show up. The decor is very French/Italian. Our server was very nice and answered my many questions about the menu. I wish there were more options on the menu. The food we selected was very hit or miss, in my opinion. However, we were trying things smi had before or different combinations of foods that I wouldn't have thought to put together
Absolutely INCREDIBLE spot for a fancy dinner in the Seaport District. We came here as a party of 3 for my friend's birthday dinner, and had exceptional service and food. Everything was truly so delicious. I opted for the dry aged burger which was one of the best tasting things I've ever eaten. It was hot, hearty, and was complimented very well by the hot cherry pepper mayo. The bun was to die for. The frites on the side were deliciously seasoned, and the sauce to accompany those was very nice as well. We split the Double Chocolate Torte for dessert which was a very interesting combination of chocolate slices, mousse, and guava. It wasn't what I would expect, but it worked very well. I'm definitely coming back!!!
